JUSTICE FOR JOE SHYMANSKI
On September 3, 2023, Joe Shymanski was fatally shot in the driveway of his Calvert County, MD home by Brandon Ross Holbrook, an eight-time convicted sex offender and the boyfriend of Joe's ex-wife, Heather Snyder. Joe had never met Holbrook prior to his murder.
On April 9, 2025, Holbrook was convicted of first degree murder and later sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Despite the verdict, the true motive behind Joe’s murder remains unknown. With Snyder's name mentioned over 400 times during the trial, friends and family are still searching for answers.
As Joe's two young children are left without their father, we want to know the truth. Why would a man who had never met Joe kill him in broad daylight? And what drove him to travel 200 miles to commit premeditated murder?
